About my work: I'm a musician and writer who has, because of my own self-centered vision and lack of money, taken on every aspect of my career myself. I recently decided the time had come for me to get my own website, so I paid for the domain and hosting and started to learn html code.
I write and record my music all on my own. I'm dying to get a band, but no one that can play bass or drums or anything else seems to care about playing with me.

Past Clients and Projects include: Last year, I put out an EP titled "Andrew, Just," a few songs off which my girlfriend Rorie Kelly sings harmony. The EP is named aftera failed Mitch Hedberg joke. t's got four songs (five if you buy it off me at a show for $5) and it's available for download in it's entirety on my website, www.andrewjimenez.com.
I chose this occupation because: It chose me. My grandmother taught me how to read using the backs of cereal boxes when I was 3. I've been writing and acting out my own stories ever since.
The best lesson I ever learned was: You have to be true to what you do and who you are, and express that through your art--no matter how great you think what someone else does might be. The best art says something honest; otherwise it's just be a good impression at best.
The greatest influence on my work is: I hate to say it, but: me, myself, and my experiences.
