The Urban Garden
The Urban Garden collection was an idea that inspired me after I moved to the big 'ol city of Los Angeles. I'd always had some form of a garden, even if it was growing peppers and tomatoes in pots on a deck. Suddenly living in a place with very limited space to do this, the idea for creating a surreal garden for your wall came to me.
The main idea behind this is to create many small-ish paintings of different sizes and shapes which can be put together on a wall to create your own garden. This might be a bunch of flowery things...or maybe you might prefer the Heavy Metal series )

Emotional Geography
I have had some hard lessons to learn about the power of emotions and how to harness that power to serve both myself and others. This series of work got started during an emotional breakdown. It became a form of therapy for me. I've been using collage elements in my work for a while, and while exploring with pieces of ripped up cork one day, noticed that my canvas looked a bit like a map. While working on the first painting, Mainland of Confusion, the series idea of Emotional Geography was born.

About my work:
My artistic expressions are inspired by emotional and sensual stimuli. What I feel and experience in life plays a big part in how and what I create. I enjoy the beauty of everything around me, inside and out. By collecting experiences, images, objects, and other random materials that inspire me, I let my art start to improvise. I enjoy elaborating with the collage elements because they add to the emotional space that is experienced. Sometimes my art starts with an idea already in my vision, or sometimes simply by a random great experience I come across during my day. The spark can come from many places, and I enjoy letting that energy transform into a process of its own, and into something beautiful. Past Clients and Projects include:
