About my work: ghilotti ink. began as a custom invitation studio in San Francisco in 2001 shortly before moving to Los Angeles and overseas to Amsterdam.
After a couple years it grew to include brand identity work and now, shortly after five years, is best known for both brand identity/logo work as well as "couture invitations".
ghilotti ink. was inspired and born to provide businesses and social clients alike a collaborative space to create truly couture work to send out into the world. Whether it's a interesting, never-before-seen invite to a party, a funky yet 'on-brand' press opening invitation for a new store or new logo and boutique store sign to match, ghilotti ink. thinks then inks it.
I lo-hove what I do and pride myself on providing every client excellent customer service and being able to tweak the design process in exactly the way each person needs, has the time for and understands it best.
I like for clients to think of ghilotti ink. as a friend. (but a professional, with strings one ;-)

Past Clients and Projects include: From brand identity and ongoing collateral work for contemporary baby stores such as Pumpkin in San Francisco, press invitations for the sleek n' Scandinavian stores similar to [hus] in New York, to evite baby shower invitations for media types in the O.C., ghilotti ink's work spans a wide range.
I chose this occupation because: The easy answer? I love making things look beautiful.
The longer answer...I realized that even though custom invitation designers touted their work as "one-of-a-kind" it all (still) looked pretty similar (or more mass). I began the business as a design studio that was dedicated to TRULY thinking out of the box and giving clients even more than what was promised in both time and actual product (check out the ghilotti ink. site for what I mean about "truly" unique custom invitations...)
The best lesson I ever learned was: that you can go beyond your pain threshold. You lose so many of your random fears when you start to realize how strong your body and mind are.
The greatest influence on my work is: and has been my travels. While living and working in Amsterdam for four years I was able to travel to places such as Thailand, Cambodia and Kenya and closer Euro countries like Russia, Sweden, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Austria...not surprising but amazing how ideas flow so easily when you keep moving.
Why you'd want to hire me: The service, attention and product I give is always the best I have in me (being quite a perfectionist I believe this is a good thing). The product is always better than you ever imagined (and I know we all have high expectations for our time and money). Last but not least, I'm a people person which always makes things more fun, right?
