Project description:
We're looking for a talented designer with a track record of creating highly usable interactive experiences to help us “polish” a brand new version of before we show it to the world. We're nearing the end of a two year process that included a complete overhaul of the look and feel, the addition of new features, and significant changes to the navigational structure of our site. The designer will work with us full time for up to 10 weeks to take our design to the next level, as well as ensure the site's usability by making improvements to its navigational and functional elements.

The project includes:

- Refining our styles: though most design elements have been defined, we're
looking to make them even better!

- Helping us to meet key usability goals, drawing on data from our user testing
program as well as from the designer's own experience. This may include:
improving navigational elements, creating visual distinctions between our
different content types, and increasing the usability of our forms.

The designer will work closely with the site's Project Manager, and will incorporate feedback from our Executive Director, web development team, and users. Ideally, the designer will join us in our friendly midtown office for the duration of the project.

Who we're looking for:
We're looking for someone with experience developing highly interactive user experiences. For example, someone with experience designing for e-commerce sites, social networks, or "matching" services (dating, apartments, etc.).
