About my work:
Lydia Parish
ARTIST STATEMENT
My art has a visually rich and colorful energy. This energy is limitless. Color creation pushes me beyond established boundaries, styles or processes. I use color to inspire feelings in the viewer with ideas, emotions and bold expressions subjects that inspire me; I am constantly driven by the use and exploration of vivid colors.

I create art because I have a strong desire and purpose too; as if they agree, the colors meet and organically unite on the canvas. That experience is exhilarating! While creating, I focus on that visually colorful energy that speaks to me instead of me speaking to it.
