How I would make this world a better place
End hunger and homelessness

Professional Info
My Business Name: Judith Heim
Email: kurium@comcast.net
City: Seattle, WA, 98160, United States
My Profession: Art
About my work:
Most of my water color paintings start out as amorphous shapes of wet color. As I see subject matter emerge, I delineate it. I often incorporate handmade papers or cut up pieces of left over paintings into my compositions. I really am a mixed media fanatic...anything laying around my studio is fair game! Spontaneity is very important to me visually. When it comes to assemblage, I like to use everyday objects and castaway treasures in an "out of context" kind of way. I decided early on that I did not want my work to be a noun or somebody else's "ism". I would rather it be a metaphor
with maybe a dangling participle or two!

I received my design/arts education at Stephens College in Columbia Missouri and Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. My career has included interior design, graphic design, exhibit design and arts education and fine art over the last 30 years.
