Most humbling moment
So I ran this culture mag when I was in college, and we sponsored events to promote ourselves and local talent. We hooked up with several different local organizations, as well as a handful of school organizations, to throw a Rock the Vote concert in the middle of downtown. Everything went smoothly until the day before the concert when rain was suddenly predicted for the day of the concert...lots of rain. We moved the day of the concert to the next week. Same thing happened again. We then moved the concert into a hip little gallery that was a couple of blocks away and everything went smoothly except that only about a dozen people showed. Too much rain, not enough notice of the change of location. Damn. That was a VERY embarrassing and humbling moment when I had to explain to all these groups that invested in the event what happened.
Learned a lot, though.

Tigers, Diesels, Rainbows.
My idea of a perfect Sunday morning is
Get up fairly early, bike to the beach, grab a bite to eat and a chai latte in some small seaside town.

Here is great. Later will be even better, but I know I wouldn't appreciate it as much without going through this first.

I love good thai food. Sushi. Cafes.

Pad See-Eww, spring rolls, small Asian salad, water, good company.

All of it. Many have been astounded (and intimidated) by the length (and girth) of my massive playlist.
At a party, I am most likely to be
Chit-chatting with some new friends, exchanging stories with some old friends, creating new stories with some future friends.
What's more important - the journey or the destination?
An appreciation for both is necessary to be really happy.

I enjoy a good conversation more than almost anything. I make niche jokes that only I laugh at. I work out just about every day. I am an above-average yo-yoist.
