About my work: Writer heavily influenced by the sensory experience of making it through another day. I write 'wot needs writin', primarily ghost writing, press and media kits, proposals, etc. Occasional columnist for newspaper, poet and screenwriter. I WILL finish my novel this year in spite of my cat. I will.

Past Clients and Projects include: Foot high stack of proposals, business plans, press kits. Two screenplays in option (which means they are sitting in a pile in some LA producers office). Musical Documentaries, commercials, television scripts.
I chose this occupation because: I have a head full of information, advice, sage wisdom, intellect, insight. There is also much bullshit there, which oddly enough gets more attention than the rest....
The best lesson I ever learned was: Don't let negativity influence your work. You can't and won't please everybody with everything you do, so you have to please yourself. Write what moves you, what resonates. Be a synathete - double-sensed, listen to the colors of your thoughts, look at the music of your words.
The greatest influence on my work is: All those writers who write in beautiful images.
I hate formulaic money-writing, i.e., Graham, Peterson, Cromwell, etc., etc. The literary whores. 100 years from now NO ONE will be reading their trash. It is not for the ages - it is for money.

I have always loved words. Even as a little girl words were gems, evidence of intellectual elan, physical bliss and spiritual communion. The world was full of words and I could own them all. Words felt good in my mouth, they had a texture, a smell, a weight that was at once powerful and hypnotic, juicy and sensuous.
