The truly miserable part is clocking in so many hours at the gym. That and waiting for certain pubs to go to print before EVER seeing a paycheck. Sometimes this takes months and I find myself back in the throes of dating for a decent meal and scouring Craigslist for waitressing jobs.

Oooh, I'm glad the food photos did the trick! When I first started taking them they were so blurry and flat that instead of hunger pangs, they induced confusion. I'm still working on it, but my camera is truly awful. The thing doesn't even have a view-finder, so I have to hold it with my arms outstretched at peculiar angles. I'm sure I look like quite the tourist, it's just no good.
