My Vision of Peace
Peace is really a huge part of everything I do. I decided to garden in my back yard, and while digging, sweating, and tilling the land to prepare the soil, I found some old stones, and spontaneously started to arrange them into a peace sign. My little Peace Garden is also a message about sustainability, and everyone living in harmony on Earth, and with Nature. So, watching little things grow in my Peace Garden, was spiritually and emotionally catharctic and satisfying, while providing a basic need and sustenance. These little plants, that started as seeds are rising to meet the sun...existing in their natural beauty, and giving me so much healing in return. Like all seeds, whether they are ideas, wishes, or beliefs. If created in a garden of love...and nurtured, will rise up and grow, sharing their existence, love and peacefulness, with the world. It all starts with Mother Earth.

Great Idea!....I used to hear my grandmother and my Aunt talk about the victory gardens they planted during World War Two....mainly because there was food rationing and people were encouraged to grow their own, so that commercial produce could be canned and sent overseas to our troops. This reminds me of that, but I think peace is a much better motivation!
