My Vision of Peace
The peice titled, " Contemplation in Orange", relates to inner peace, and the battle we face everyday as we step out into the World. When creating the painting I wanting to present two totally opposite color represention of time and space. I choosed orange because it is a color of danger, a color of intensity that can wilt an individual if they are unprepared. Spatial circle are added to create depth within the painting, and the illusion of movement. I choosed the tranquil color of blue to represent Humanity. Blue is the one primary color that can be used to express all emotions. Blue can be as soft as as cloud, or as majestic as a crashing wave. The pastorial scene of moutains and flowers represent the inner commitment to stand strong in the face of diversity.Together these are the elements we face each day as we move forward in the world toward inner peace.

Medium
This painting was created using acrlic on canvas. I refer to my style as afrocentric surrealism, or my way.

Really fine! Reminds me of Mati Klarwein's artwork (he created the covers for Miles Davis' "Bitches Brew" and "Live-Evil" among others).
