My Vision of Peace
Flowers have long been symbols of passion, love, and purity. They grace even the harshest places, like alpine meadows and harsh deserts.

Too easily we are distracted by the hustle of life, often forgetting why we are here. Wild places give us an opportunity to slow down, and flowers like this lily encourage us to stop and look, and recall where we came from, and to where we shall return in time.

Medium
Captured on Kodak E100VS 4x5 film with an Arca-Swiss view camera and a 135mm lens. Getting a shot with this much magnification required a lot of patience, waiting for a lull in the breeze so that the flower would stay still long enough for one shot. The bug on the sepal was kind enough to pose for me, giving the shot some balance.

Beautiful...flowers, like people can flourish in what appears to be the harshest of environments. Thanks for sharing and it's wonderful to see you here :)

Flowers, like the one photographed above, that bloom in vast wastelands are like beacons of hope~

Lovely~
